About the Role

This is a senior financial leadership position within the Medical Sciences Division, reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial support to the division and its academic departments, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the MSD finance team
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the division's goals and objectives
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with academic departments to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support
  • Act as deputy to the Divisional Financial Controller on a routine and day-to-day basis
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with academic departments and other stakeholders.
