Quality Technician Automotive Job Description

Our prestigious client is seeking a Quality Technician to provide a responsive quality support function for assembly line and production line issues. The ideal candidate will have all-round manufacturing quality knowledge and be responsible for inspecting parts with potential issues, addressing those quality issues, and developing suitable containment, corrections, and rectifications to minimize the effect on production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership and lead on Quality Instructions, Level 0 activities, and Work Instructions generated for quality issues within the designated perimeter.
  • Manage and resolve quality issues identified by manufacturing and production areas.
  • Effectively establish and communicate problem scenarios to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review internal quality systems and processes and ensure timely progression of suspect components.
  • Manage Third-Party Sorting actions onsite efficiently and transition containment activities to suppliers promptly.
  • Follow and complete internal escalation processes for addressing problems and supplier issues.
  • Ensure clear communication of quality-related topics to relevant personnel and business units.
