Role Overview

The Test Analyst is accountable for the formulation and execution of test cases and scripts aligned with project requirements. This role involves identifying and monitoring defects while collaborating effectively within our Agile Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies as an integral member of the Scrum team.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to comprehend tasks and provide time estimates.
  • Develop comprehensive test scripts.
  • Conduct thorough test executions.
  • Identify, document, and track defects.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in designing and executing test cases and scripts.
  • Experience in defect logging and management.
  • Proficient in capturing and documenting evidence of test execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Required: Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Required: Solid experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Preferred experience in the utilities or energy sector.
  • Required: Experience with MS Dynamics.
  • Required: Familiarity with Postman.
  • Required: Experience in End-to-End (E2E) testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
