Role Summary

The Test Analyst will play a crucial role in developing and executing test cases and scripts that align with project requirements. This position involves identifying and tracking defects while collaborating closely with our Agile Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies as an integral member of the Scrum team.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to comprehend tasks and provide accurate time estimates.
  • Develop comprehensive test scripts.
  • Conduct test executions.
  • Identify, document, and monitor defects.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manual and/or automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Proficient in designing and executing test cases and scripts.
  • Experience in defect logging and management.
  • Ability to document and store evidence of test execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Required: Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Required: Proficient in writing SQL statements.
  • Experience in the utilities or energy sector is preferred.
  • Required: Experience with MS Dynamics.
  • Required: Familiarity with Postman.
  • Required: Experience in End-to-End (E2E) testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
