As the Senior Director of Communications and Engagement, you will spearhead the creation and execution of a premier communications strategy that aligns with our mission and vision, bolsters our reputation, and fosters engagement among our employees and stakeholders.

Your leadership will extend to a team of communications specialists focused on media relations, strategic campaigns, social media engagement, content development, brand stewardship, crisis management, internal communications, and employee involvement. You will serve as the principal advisor to the Chief Executive and the broader leadership team on all communication matters, effectively managing risks while capitalizing on opportunities.

This is a full-time position, with flexibility for remote work and job-sharing arrangements. We offer visa sponsorship and a relocation package for qualified candidates.

We are looking for extensive experience in crafting and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that deliver results in a complex, high-profile environment, ideally within the public sector or scientific community. Proficiency in managing high-stakes media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management is essential, along with a proven track record of providing strategic guidance to senior leaders on communication challenges and opportunities. Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including governmental bodies, media outlets, and labor organizations, will be highly beneficial.
