Residential Childcare Assistant Role

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver day-to-day support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Assist with personal care, education, and social activities, fostering their growth and development.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, adhering to strict safeguarding protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team to create a cohesive and nurturing environment.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Residential Childcare Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A genuine caring and compassionate nature, with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with children and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the residents.
