Job Summary:

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Cost Manager to join our team in the housing sector. As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering cost management services for planned maintenance programs in residential dwellings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside an Associate or Director to successfully manage and deliver cost management services for planned maintenance programs.
  • Manage project finances, including estimating, cost reporting, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and the supply chain.
  • Act independently and confidently in a client-facing role, with minimal supervision.
  • Manage commissions efficiently, on time, and with a focus on client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience in asset management and maintenance contracts.
  • Experience in residential projects and clients, preferably in the housing sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction and building technologies used in residential maintenance and repair.
  • Experience in schedule of rates valued contracts.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with team members and balance people and processes.
  • Relevant construction-focused qualification.
