We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Trauma and Relational Therapies (STaRT) team within Portsmouth CAMHS. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of a passionate and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality interventions to children, young people, and their families presenting with a range of psychological difficulties and complex life experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Offer assessments and specialist interventions to children and young people who have experienced trauma, including complex trauma.
- Support multi-agency networks of professionals in working in a psychologically- and trauma-informed way.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to children and young people and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
- Qualified Clinical Psychologist with postgraduate doctoral training in Clinical Psychology.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist within CAMHS.
- Experience of assessing and treating a wide range of psychological disorders in children.
- Experience of working with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
- Experience of applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) within CAMHS.
- Experience of completing and reviewing Care Plans.
- Experience of assessing and recording Risk Management plans.
- Experience of collating, recording, and evaluating clinical outcomes.
