About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Solent NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work alongside our senior management and clinical staff to deliver high-quality psychological care to individuals across the city.
Main Responsibilities
The role will involve working in a dynamic and flexible environment, including partnership working with other agencies, developing professional networks, and using leadership skills to improve care and support for people with learning disabilities.
Key Requirements
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience of working as a qualified clinical or counselling psychologist at a highly specialist level
- Experience of delivering individual, family, and group therapy
- Experience of maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems
