About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Solent NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work alongside our senior management and clinical staff to deliver high-quality psychological care to individuals with learning disabilities in Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, family, and group therapy to clients with learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members
- Contribute to the development of service initiatives and policies
Requirements
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience of working with clients with learning disabilities in a variety of settings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
