Job Description

Job Title: Pensions Team Manager

Job Summary:

NJR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Pensions Team Manager to join our client's team in the Bolton area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Client Associates, ensuring high performance and quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Direct, manage, and support the Client Associate Team to achieve high performance aligned with business and departmental goals.
  • Client Service: Oversee the cradle-to-grave process of client service delivery, ensuring work items are completed within SLAs and to the highest standards.
  • Team Development: Identify areas for improvement within the team, providing training and development to address performance gaps.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage client portfolios, ensuring all activities, including debt management and expression of wish documentation, are proactively handled.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with peers and the Head of SSAS Operations to provide solutions to business requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce and analyze management information, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving: Address complex cases and complaints, drafting final responses and resolutions to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Previous line management experience is desirable.
  • Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in cradle-to-grave administration is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to be organized and flexible to reflect the changing demands of the role.
  • Quality Focus: Set high standards for quality and quantity and work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way.
