As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable families and ensuring the well-being of children in our care.


Key Responsibilities:
* **Conduct Comprehensive Assessments:** Execute Initial, Core, and specialized evaluations adhering to national standards and timelines to develop tailored support plans for clients or direct them to suitable services.

* **Case Management:** Oversee cases of diverse complexity, coordinate support services, evaluate risk factors, and continuously monitor situations with clients and their families to adapt support as necessary.

* **Family Support Services:** Offer guidance and support to family members, empower clients, encourage their involvement in service planning and assessment, and promote independence from social services.

* **Collaborative Professional Engagement:** Work alongside relevant personnel and organizations, facilitate essential connections, and proactively establish resources such as group programs and specialized counseling.

* **Interdisciplinary Teamwork:** Engage in interdisciplinary teams and meetings to assess clients' needs and formulate appropriate care strategies.

* **Documentation and Compliance:** Ensure all records and reports are accurately documented, updated, and completed in accordance with policies for auditing, legal, or other requirements.

* **Judicial Participation:** Provide written and verbal testimony in legal proceedings, conduct necessary evaluations, and present evidence to support decisions made by social services to protect children.

* **Execution of Court Mandates:** Implement court-sanctioned actions to guarantee the safety and welfare of clients, which may involve urgent interventions, and collaborate with colleagues from various agencies for effective partnerships.
