About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Simulation Support Manager to join our team at Syntax Consultancy Limited. As a key member of our global simulation systems business, you will be responsible for managing build and support contracts for simulation systems customers located in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the Support team and Mechanical/Electrical Hardware Engineering function.
- Leading a multi-disciplinary support team of 5-10 people, including Project Coordinators and Engineering Support staff.
- Ensuring hardware design, build, procurement, and project coordination are managed and resourced effectively to meet demand.
- Ensuring maintenance support plans and reporting of major issues are managed effectively.
- Ensuring technical and commercial aspects of support projects are managed in a timely fashion.
- Budget planning, review, and ongoing control for simulation support contracts.
- Scheduling/coordinating activities and ensuring delivery to agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Staff resource planning, target setting, recognition, and people development.
- Building strong working relationships with Engineering, Project Management, and Business Development teams.
Requirements:
- Experience with simulation systems.
- Ability to work 100% fully remote from anywhere in the UK.
