We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Project Engineer to join our team at Rockfield Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple projects, evaluating and proposing solutions to address wear and unreliability, and developing procedures for new application introduction.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our engineering manager and other team members to identify and prioritize projects, develop project plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely completion
  • Evaluate and propose solutions to address wear and unreliability in rail rolling stock
  • Develop procedures for new application introduction, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with the engineering manager and other team members to identify and prioritize projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Experience in manufacturing and project management
  • Strong technical knowledge of rail rolling stock and engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
