Exciting Opportunity for a Civil Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Civil Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Strata Consulting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil engineering projects, developing your skills and expertise in design, drafting, and project management.

About the Role
  • Design and draft civil engineering works for various sectors, including residential, industrial, and commercial.
  • Work on SuDS schemes, private external works, Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout the East Midlands and United Kingdom.
  • Develop and maintain technical drawings using industry-standard software, including Microdrainage, InfoDrainage, Civil3D, and PDS.
Requirements
  • Three to five years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering.
  • Proficiency in Civil3D, PDS, InfoDrainage, and MicroDrainage software.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, design principles, and health and safety protocols.
  • A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively.
