Your Role: CFD Software Verification Engineer

As a key member of our Fluids Business Unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our ANSYS CFD software. You will contribute to validating and verifying our cutting-edge simulation tools, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test cases, scripts, and procedures to rigorously evaluate the functionality and usability of ANSYS CFD software.
  • Conduct thorough testing in diverse computing environments, including Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as high-performance computing platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product development teams and technical specialists to identify and resolve software issues.
Qualifications:

We seek a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for software testing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with no prior experience.
  • Familiarity with numerical methods and algorithms commonly used in CFD simulations is highly desirable.
  • Experience utilizing CFD software to solve real-world engineering problems is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and experience working with both Linux and Windows platforms are essential.
