Aerodynamics Engineer

At Ansys, we are seeking a skilled Aerodynamics Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our Fluids product development testing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably in aeronautical, mechanical, or chemical disciplines. Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Jscript, Python, or FORTRAN is highly desirable. A keen interest in engineering simulation software, particularly CFD, is essential.

As a Software Testing Engineer for CFD Products, you will be responsible for testing our software effectively, providing high-quality feedback to developers on how to improve the software quality, and gaining a thorough knowledge of the software under test. You will also assist in the production of test specifications, develop new tests for the products being tested, and carry out acceptance testing specifications.

This placement will give the successful applicant valuable experience in commercial engineering software within a dynamic team environment. You will have the opportunity to work on specific projects aimed at helping you attain your academic qualification and gain a deeper understanding of CFD.
