About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Participant Engagement Officer to join our team at Reed in Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of job seekers and helping them achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make initial contact with job seekers to explain the Restart scheme and gather relevant information to ensure we can provide the best possible service.
  • Book job seekers in with Employment Advisers for one-to-one meetings to discuss their employment goals and create a personalized plan.
  • Engage with Job Centre work coaches and assist in the referral process to ensure a smooth transition for job seekers.
  • Respond to expressions of interest from job seekers and provide them with information about the scheme and how it can benefit them.
  • Check in with participants once they have commenced work through the scheme to offer advice and support and ensure they are meeting their employment goals.

Requirements
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, such as customer services, hospitality, or social care.
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment and meeting performance targets.
  • Strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy skills, and good written communication/record-keeping skills.
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma in combination with GCSE English Language Grade B or above (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of working in a telephone-based customer service or call centre environment.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role in welfare to work or publicly funded services.
