Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Contract: Hospital

Are you an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge in the facilities sector? Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a team on a hospital site based close to Cambridge.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a company offering lots of progression and training. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and completing the appropriate paperwork and reports.

You will also be on a call-out rota to provide the client with full out-of-hours cover. Additionally, you will oversee visiting sub-contractors with regards to the standard of work and Health and Safety.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks, including plumbing and drainage systems, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps.
  • Experience in a commercial environment and good building services knowledge.
  • Ability to pass a DBS check.
