Our client, a leading Facilities Management company, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a large static site near Cambridge.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced mechanical maintenance engineer to work in a dynamic team environment, offering plenty of progression and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Be on a call-out rota to provide full out-of-hours cover.
  • Oversee visiting sub-contractors regarding standard of work and Health and Safety.
  • Assist on other properties within the portfolio as required.
  • Perform daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks, including plumbing and drainage systems, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps.
Requirements:

Experience in a commercial environment with good building services knowledge is essential.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £43k, plus company benefits, discounts, and a pension scheme.

Shifts will be from 07:00 to 15:30 or 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, with alternating weekly early and late shifts.
