Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Our client, a leading FM company, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their team on a large static site near Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking to advance their career in a company that offers extensive training and development opportunities.

  • Salary: Competitive up to £43k
  • Benefits: Training & Progression, Company benefits and discounts, Pension
  • Shifts: From 07:00 to 15:30 / 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday (alternating weekly)

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance, completing relevant paperwork and reports, and providing out-of-hours cover. They will also oversee visiting sub-contractors, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to Health and Safety protocols. Additionally, they will assist with tasks on other properties within the portfolio, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks, including plumbing and drainage systems, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps
  • Experience in a commercial environment and good building services knowledge
