Salary: £44,500 Per annum
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and multi-talented individual who can take on the role of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. This exciting opportunity will involve working with our maintenance team on site, ensuring that all mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks are carried out to a high standard.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, with experience working on a wide range of mechanical systems, including air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical duties. They will be responsible for monitoring mechanical plant, carrying out routine checks and maintenance tasks, and escalating any issues to the relevant teams.
A key aspect of this role will be to work closely with specialist sub-contractors, providing guidance and support as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements:
- Mechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Able to gain Enhanced DBS
- Highly desirable: Any further qualifications (i.e. Electrical or Air Conditioning etc)
- Experience working in a hospital environment
