Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to site safety procedures and demonstrating a strong understanding of site safety requirements.
- Maintenance Coordination: Performing general maintenance and coordinating with contractors to achieve high standards and timely delivery.
- Engineering Systems: Understanding and maintaining key engineering systems, including heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
- Repairs and Support: Carrying out plumbing and joinery repairs and supporting both production and office teams.
- Site Inspections: Conducting site inspections and checks, maintaining the grounds, and managing the Facilities Helpdesk tickets for repair and maintenance tasks.
The successful candidate will have:
- A mechanical and/or electrical qualification or extensive M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) experience.
- Familiarity with engineering systems such as heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including risk assessments, method statements, and permits to work.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, competitive overtime, and a supportive work environment.
