Electro-Mechanical Engineer Role

We are recruiting for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Reed Engineering in Duxford. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services for electro-mechanical equipment, while also contributing to the development of new processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in delivering planned maintenance, service, and reactive repair work for electro-mechanical equipment. They will be responsible for ensuring high levels of service by delivering periodic and condition-based preventative maintenance schedules, conducting 1st Level reactive service and repair work, and promoting safe working practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver periodic and condition-based preventative maintenance schedules for all electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct 1st Level reactive service and repair work, diagnosing issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Work with operations teams to offer engineering expertise in the design and delivery of improvements for electro-mechanical equipment.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Understanding of PLC programming logic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive salary, canteen, gym, and free on-site parking.
