We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crime Duty Solicitor to join our client's thriving practice in Central London. As a Crime Duty Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a complex caseload of criminal matters, providing first-class representation at police stations, and advocating for clients in the Magistrates' and High Court.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients detained in police stations
  • Advocate for clients in the Magistrates' and High Court
  • Manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision
  • Interview witnesses and draft witness statements
  • Conduct extradition proceedings
  • Represent clients in cases involving murder, manslaughter, burglary, robbery, drug offenses, fraud, rape, sexual offenses, and road traffic offenses

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Crime duty accreditation is essential
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and client care skills
  • Able to meet and exceed tight deadlines
