Classroom Based Youth Support Worker Opportunity

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Based Youth Support Worker to join our team at a prestigious school in Bromley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Design and deliver engaging activities to foster comprehensive growth, socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Monitor student progress, collaborating with students to overcome challenges and exceed expectations.
  • Communicate progress updates and concerns to the class teacher/SEND team with clarity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for this role.
  • Experience in advocating for students with additional needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a vibrant team.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive daily rate of £85-£115 (dependent on experience).
  • A full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Protocol Education:

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants. We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
