Job Title: Classroom Based Youth Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Classroom Based Youth Support Worker. The successful candidate will work with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a small group or one-on-one setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop personalized support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Design and deliver engaging activities to foster comprehensive growth – socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Monitor student progress and collaborate with the class teacher/SEND team to overcome challenges and exceed expectations.
  • Communicate progress updates and concerns to the class teacher/SEND team with clarity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role.
  • Experience in advocating for students with additional needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
