Classroom Based Youth Support Worker Opportunity

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Based Youth Support Worker to join our team in Bromley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a vibrant and intimate educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalized Support Strategies: Develop and implement tailored support plans to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering comprehensive growth and development.
  • Engaging Activities: Design and deliver engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth, tailored to the individual needs of each student.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor student progress, collaborating with students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate progress updates and concerns to the class teacher/SEND team, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Training: Possess the necessary qualifications and training for this role, as outlined in the FAQs on the Protocol Education website.
  • Experience: Ideally, bring previous experience in advocating for students with additional needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of SEND support.
