Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Administrator to join our team, with the flexibility to work from either Horsforth or Birstall.

The ideal candidate will possess a confident and professional telephone demeanor, have prior administrative experience in building control, and demonstrate proficiency in various IT applications.

As the first point of contact for new clients, the Administrator will play a crucial role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

The role will initially encompass the following tasks:

  • Generating and issuing correspondence to clients, including 28, 60, and 90-day letters, while accurately recording all responses.
  • Preparing and submitting Final Certificates to local authorities and clients.
  • Following up on quotes through our automated system and archiving responses as necessary.
  • Processing fee payments, including card transactions.
  • Performing general administrative duties such as filing, answering phone calls, and taking messages.

As the role develops, additional responsibilities will include:

  • Processing new applications and submitting Initial Notices to local authorities.
  • Distributing consultations related to water, fire, and structural matters, and managing the responses.
  • Generating and submitting Plans Certificates to relevant authorities, agents, and clients.
  • Following up on completion inspections and reminding clients of necessary completion information.
  • Submitting extension of time letters and notices of cancellation to local authorities.

  • Self-motivated and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
