Position Overview

Rockbourne is excited to collaborate with a prominent Private Equity Real Estate firm in their search for a new Associate to join their expanding team.

Since the inception of their Real Estate Private Equity division, our client has successfully amassed approximately $800M in Assets Under Management (AUM). Their investment strategy is primarily centered around asset classes that leverage technology and sustainability to enhance traditional returns.

The firm partners with various operating platforms, many of which they have equity stakes in, to manage the daily operations of their investments. They are now seeking a highly qualified individual to oversee these platforms from both acquisition and asset management perspectives.

This role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to accelerate their career trajectory by joining the firm at an early stage in its development.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

Platform Oversight: Collaborate with the Head of Acquisitions and Asset Management at the operating companies.

  • Ensure accountability of the Operating Platforms.
  • Critically assess and audit financial models and strategic thinking.

Acquisition Duties:

  • Evaluate new investment opportunities alongside the Investment Management team.
  • Identify and assess potential investment prospects, including direct real estate ventures.
  • Conduct initial analyses to ensure alignment with the firm's investment strategy.

Asset Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversee current Assets Under Management, coordinating with Portfolio Companies on asset management initiatives.
  • Support the execution of business plans and strategies for portfolio companies.
  • Continuously monitor the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies.
  • Assist with various tasks such as fundraising and fund management as needed.
  • Strategically consider how to develop and finance new platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate equity investment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in quantitative analysis.
  • A blend of analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • A self-motivated individual who is both academically and practically astute.
  • Proficient in building financial models and confidently presenting findings to investment committees.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: £80,000 - £100,000 plus discretionary bonuses.
  • Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP).
