About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized administrative professional to join our Children in Care and Adoption Team as an Administrator. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Children in Care and Adoption Team, including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
  • Act as a liaison between the team, schools, social care, GPs, and other relevant bodies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, ensuring the best possible care is delivered to children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provide high-quality written documentation, including letters and reports, to support the team's work.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven administrative experience, with a strong understanding of data management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Excel, and email, with experience of using EMIS and Connecting Care systems.
