About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Alcumus. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising a portfolio of clients across various industries on employment documentation and providing general HR advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, customer-focused support for all customers, offering competent HR advice and identifying the point of escalation to the HR Consultants as necessary.
  • Maintain and update legally compliant HR documentation, including contract statements, employee handbooks, and policies.
  • Offer legally compliant, pragmatic, and commercial employment options through regular communication with clients.
  • Manage client documents and support the renewals process.
  • Record HR advice given accurately and efficiently in online systems.
  • Upsell additional Evalu-8 features, ancillaries, and HR packages to existing clients.
  • Plan and manage personal capacity in conjunction with the HR Technical Team Manager, aligned with client portfolio expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Alcumus teams to drive a consistent approach to customers.
  • Identify and work towards opportunities for improvement with the HR Technical Team Manager and wider business.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a HR Advisory position with a sound knowledge of employment law and advising on best HR practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR and employee relations.
  • Ability to think and operate in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of delivering first-class service and managing stakeholder relations.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification.
