About The Role

Become a key member of the Atlas Workplace Services Team as a Mobile Facilities Technician

Are you experienced and committed to upholding exceptional standards while ensuring smooth operations across various client locations?

In this vital position, you will carry out statutory and routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and swiftly resolve reactive maintenance challenges, ensuring compliance with contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to uphold our quality benchmarks.

We are looking for a Facilities Technician who excels in delivering high-quality planned maintenance and responsive repairs, with a strong focus on compliance PPM across multiple disciplines. Are you prepared to contribute your expertise to a team where your skills will make a significant difference?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Engineering Excellence: Maintain Atlas Workplace Services' rigorous standards and capabilities to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Lead Maintenance Initiatives: Execute PPM activities, including L8 PPMs and compliance measures, with careful attention to detail.
  • Facilitate Communication: Keep clients and team members updated with proactive feedback to ensure seamless operations.
  • Deliver Outstanding Service: Aim for complete customer satisfaction through a quality-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Optimize Value: Effectively manage resources and provide precise estimates for minor tasks to maximize customer value.
  • Ensure Safety and Efficiency: Report task performance to your Technical Service Manager and guarantee safe, efficient execution, including by service partners.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Work closely with Account Support, Schedulers, Technical Service Managers, and Sub-Contractors to meet SLAs and build strong relationships.
  • Master System Management: Keep the Maximo CAFM system current and accurate using your tablet, diligently recording all time on Work Order timesheets. Exhibit commitment through exceptional service delivery and management of out-of-hours call-outs as needed.
About You Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training Required
  • GCSE in English and Maths or Equivalent
  • Legionella (L8) trained and competent (Desirable)
  • Accredited Health and Safety qualification e.g. IOSH Working Safely or equivalent (Desirable)
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for this Role
  • 2 years of prior experience in a similar environment, particularly across multi-site and multi-discipline service delivery.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Background in mobile engineering or property maintenance.
  • Proficient understanding of modern office software. Experience with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.
  • Strong, demonstrable skills in building services trades and the ability to perform a variety of tasks within a building maintenance context.
  • Experience in conducting minor drainage works.
  • Experience in delivering L8 compliance maintenance.
