We are seeking an experienced and skilled Regional Property Underwriting Director to join our team at Howden Group Holdings. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a critical role in shaping our underwriting strategy and driving growth in the regional property market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the regional property market.
- Lead a team of underwriters to ensure accurate and timely risk assessment and pricing of regional property business.
- Collaborate with other business units to ensure alignment and effective communication of underwriting strategies and risk appetite.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including capacity providers, brokers, and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
- Strong experience in underwriting and portfolio management, with a focus on regional property.
