Job Summary:
GE Power Conversion, part of GE Vernova, is seeking a highly skilled APQP Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure compliance with ISO9001/AQAP2110 standards.
- Conduct product and process audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and FMEA's.
- Lead quality audits and provide training to quality awareness.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in the development of new products and changes to current products.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of quality systems, measurement tools, and techniques.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge, VSM, and Gauge R&R.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of NATO standards AQAP2105/2110.
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Sole British citizenship with a valid British Passport and SC level clearance.
