About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team at Richmond Hill Hotel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that maintain the hotel's leading position in the marketplace.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Promote a strong sales culture within the department and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and agents to drive repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales and events management, with a strong understanding of the hotel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Opera and Sales and Catering systems is a plus.
