About the Role

Bazaarvoice is seeking an experienced sales professional to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic retail clients in the UK. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for delivering strategic, commercially oriented business direction to our clients, as well as managing sales processes to upsell additional solutions and sell into new entities within those retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run a strategic territory, including territory and account management to identify and build opportunities to grow your business by applying a strategic, detail-oriented approach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline within existing accounts on a continuous basis.
  • Demonstrate and sell high-ROI software solutions to C-level stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles, building consensus across multiple business units and successfully driving sales processes to close.
  • Manage all strategic and commercial aspects of the relationship, to make the client successful with all Bazaarvoice products and services and to nurture and grow the Bazaarvoice relationship.
  • Confidently lead a sales cycle and collaborate internally with various teams to close business (pre-sales, marketing, product specialists, etc.).
Requirements
  • 5+ years of account management or customer success in the ecommerce, digital or SaaS industries.
  • Proven track-record of overachieving quota, and clear demonstrable experience of building champions in accounts to draft mutual close plans with the client.
  • Fluent written and oral in English.
  • Experience using SalesForce, Powerpoint &/or Excel.
  • Experience in the Retail ecosystem.
