Job Description

Job Title: Japanese Speaking Supply Chain Planner

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: West London (Hybrid Working Available)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Speaking Supply Chain Planner to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for executing the purchasing and inventory management of products to meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzing and Reviewing Demand: Analyze and review item demand on a weekly basis to identify changes and ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained, avoiding out-of-stocks or overstocks.
  2. Production Planning: Plan production to meet customer demand, raising works orders as necessary.
  3. ERP System Management: Maintain the ERP system Master data to ensure all data is up-to-date.
  4. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels across multiple third-party warehouses, ensuring optimum inventory levels at each location.
  5. Packaging Supplies: Monitor packaging supplies to ensure they are maintained for all items.
  6. Documentation Administration: Administer documentation from suppliers and freight forwarders internationally to facilitate customs clearance and legal compliance.
  7. Goods Receipt and Work Order Creation: Receive goods and build work orders once the goods are delivered to the warehouse.
  8. Project Support: Support new supply chain projects and be involved in all aspects of project rollout.

Requirements:

  1. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Japanese, both spoken and written.
  2. Supply Chain Experience: Experience in a supply chain/purchasing or logistics department.
  3. Office Administration: Office administration experience.
  4. Microsoft Excel: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  5. Import and Export Knowledge: Understanding of import and export requirements (good to have but not essential).
