Job Summary:

Totum Partners is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the Revenue team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WIP Management: Oversee the management of Work-In-Progress (WIP) to ensure accurate and timely write-offs, file transfers, closures, and archiving.
  • Timesheet Support: Provide assistance to fee-earners with timesheet submissions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Billing: Review invoices, billing guides, and credit notes to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • e-Billing: Assist with the submission of electronic bills to clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Credit Control: Support WIP management and invoice distribution, ensuring prompt payment and minimizing bad debt.
  • User Setup: Ensure new users are correctly set up on the system, with access to necessary tools and resources.
  • Team Assistance: Provide cover when needed, supporting the Revenue team in their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a similar role in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Quick Learning: Quick to learn new systems and procedures, with a willingness to develop new skills and knowledge.
