About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in the Penrith area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a gentleman in his late 60's who has an acquired brain injury. The role involves promoting independence with daily living tasks, including household chores, personal care, shopping, and regularly going out in the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the client with daily living tasks, including household chores and personal care
  • Assist the client with shopping and regularly going out in the local community
  • Encourage the client to participate in therapy programmes and activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client
Requirements
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Experience of working with adults with physical & cognitive impairment
  • Good communication skills, patience, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure
