Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the Penrith area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a gentleman in his late 60's who has an acquired brain injury. The role will involve promoting independence with daily living tasks, including household chores, personal care, shopping, and regular outings in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the client with daily living tasks and promote independence
  • Assist with household chores, personal care, and shopping
  • Accompany the client on regular outings in the local community
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the client and their family
  • Work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (experience of driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is desirable)
  • Experience of working with adults with physical and cognitive impairments (essential)
  • Dependable and professional with a positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage
  • Previous experience working with clients with brain injuries is preferable
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
