Job Title: Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality support to a gentleman in his late 60's living independently in the Penrith area.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the client and promoting independence with daily living tasks, including household chores, personal care, shopping, and regularly going out in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to the client, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Encourage and promote independence in daily living tasks
- Support the client in accessing community resources and activities
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and support provided
- Work collaboratively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Experience of working with adults with physical and cognitive impairments
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
