Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions that meet cost, time, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Serve as the technical lead within a small, multidisciplinary project design team to drive innovative design solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery, with a strong understanding of classical engineering analysis and computer simulations.
  • Design Creation: Lead the creation of designs using SolidWorks software, collaborating with the team to conduct laboratory testing and verify design outputs against design inputs.
  • Documentation: Develop engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigations, and other formal documentation required to meet customer needs.
  • System Integration: Work with broader engineering teams to incorporate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
  • Support Functions: Provide support to production, testing, and field engineering teams, and assist sales teams with bids and quotations.
  • Project Management: Take charge of ensuring the timely delivery of outputs within established deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong background in electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of classical engineering analysis and computer simulations, with expertise in SolidWorks software.
