Key Responsibilities- Design Leadership: Serve as the technical lead within a small, multidisciplinary project design team to drive innovative design solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Expertise in electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery, with a strong understanding of 3D CAD design and engineering analysis.
- Design Development: Lead the creation of designs using SolidWorks software and collaborate with the team to conduct classical engineering analysis on designs.
- Lab Testing and Validation: Conduct laboratory testing to verify and validate design outputs against design inputs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Lead the development of engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigations, and other formal documentation required to meet customer needs.
- System Integration: Work with broader engineering teams to incorporate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
- Support Functions: Provide support to production, testing, and field engineering teams, and assist sales teams with bids and quotations.
- Project Management: Take charge of ensuring the timely delivery of outputs within established deadlines.
