Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Hospitality Supervisor to enhance our vibrant team. This role is not merely a job; it is a chance to contribute to a dedicated group focused on excellence in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience Management: Lead the hospitality service, ensuring all guest areas are impeccably maintained and customer service is exceptional. Oversee the organization and delivery of remarkable guest experiences.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the hospitality team during shifts, providing training and support to maintain high performance. Manage the recruitment of seasonal staff and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Service Standards: Uphold and enforce service standards, training staff to ensure consistency and excellence in guest interactions. Implement feedback systems to continuously enhance service quality.
- Event Coordination: Manage daily operations for both private and public events, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting. Share responsibility for revenue, expenses, and inventory management.
- Technology Management: Oversee the use of hospitality technology and systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all hospitality operations adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the estate.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality supervisory or management role, preferably in a high-end or boutique environment.
- WSET Level 2 or 3 certification preferred, with a strong appreciation for English wines.
- Degree-level education or higher in hospitality or business management is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software and basic IT skills.
