We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roaming Chef to join our team at Little Gems Country Dining. As a Roaming Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of chefs to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to using locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices
- Train and mentor junior chefs to improve their skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive growth
- Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a similar environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on using locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
