Role Overview
As an Accounts and Audit Associate, your responsibilities will include preparing statutory and management accounts, handling corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and producing accounts for partnerships and sole traders, alongside bookkeeping tasks. Building and nurturing client relationships will also be a key aspect of your role, which may involve representing the firm at networking functions and contributing to the growth of both existing and prospective clients.
Qualifications for Success
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar capacity within an accounting practice. Candidates should be pursuing an accountancy qualification and ideally be AAT or ACCA/ACA Part Qualified. Proficiency in accounting software is essential, with Xero and IRIS being critical; familiarity with other software platforms will also be considered. A strong work ethic and a commitment to advancing your professional journey are essential attributes for this position.
Compensation and Benefits
In return for your expertise, a competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £30,000 will be offered, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will have access to study support packages to further your professional qualifications.
