Female Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Edinburgh. This role is specifically designed for female applicants due to site-based operational needs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in security is a plus, but full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting security checks, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors on-site, and monitoring and managing site access. They will also perform necessary searches with professionalism and respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents.

The successful candidate will be required to hold an SIA Licence and have access to a vehicle or good transport links. They will also be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct security checks and ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors on-site.
- Monitor and manage site access, maintaining strict control over who enters the premises.
- Perform necessary searches with professionalism, ensuring procedures are followed with respect and care.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents, providing support and coordination as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
- Female candidates only, due to the specific operational needs of the site.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in security is a plus, but full training will be provided.
