Job Summary
Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Devices Lead to join our team at Brentwood Hospital. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of medical devices across the hospital site.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the coordination of medical devices, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
Liaise with company representatives and third-party contractors to obtain quotes for new equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Chair monthly and quarterly medical device meetings to discuss equipment issues, compliance, and best practices.
Develop and maintain databases for equipment on the fixed asset register, equipment compliance, staff competency compliance, and national joint registers.
Provide training and support to staff on the use and maintenance of medical devices.
Collaborate with the theatre department and porters to ensure seamless patient flow and equipment management.
Requirements
Patient-focused and excellent communication skills.
Diligent and IT literate, with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Flexible approach and passion for development and training.
