About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior / Principal Estimator to join our team at S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the completion of construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to obtain bids and negotiate prices, while working closely with project management teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare and coordinate full estimates for complex and large-scale projects, adhering to client and customer requirements.
  • Review construction documents and scope of work to ensure accurate estimates, obtaining bids from subcontractors and negotiating prices.
  • Develop and maintain a library of pricing and output data, assisting with the management of production and negotiating estimates and tenders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in main contractor construction, with experience managing projects from £5million to £50million across various sectors. You will also need to possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
